Front Seat Belt Pretensioner Components and Components Location

Front Seat Belt Pretensioner Repair procedures

When installing the belt, make sure not to damage the pretensioner. |
|

Remove the center pillar upper trim.
(Refer to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Trim") |
| 2. |
After loosening the front belt upper anchor mounting bolt, remove the front belt upper anchor (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.8 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

Disconnect the connector (A) 
|
| 4. |
Loosen the mounting bolt and removing the front safety belt retractor (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.8 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

| 5. |
To intall, reverse the removal procedure.

After installing the front seat belt retractor, check that
the air bag warning indicator illuminates for about 6 seconds when the
ignition is ON and then goes out. |

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly. |
| • |
Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers). |

Height Adjust Components and Components Location
Height Adjust Repair procedures

Remove the front seat belt upper anchor.
(Refer to Front Seat Belt - "Front Seat Belt Pretensioner") |
| 2. |
After loosening the mounting bolts, remove the height adjust (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

To intall, reverse the removal procedure.

Replace any damaged clips (or pin-type retainers). |

Front Seat Belt Buckle Components and Components Location
1. Front seat belt buckle

Front Seat Belt Buckle Repair procedures

Remove the front seat assembly.
(Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly") |
| 2. |
Disconnect the front seat belt buckle connector wiring (A). 
|
| 3. |
After loosening the mounting bolt, remove the front seat belt buckle (A).
Tightening torque :
39.2 ~ 53.9 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5 kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)

| 4. |
To intall, reverse the removal procedure.

Make sure the connector is plugged in properly. |

Replacement
1.
Fold the rear seat back assembly (A) by pulling the folding lever in the direction of the arrow.
2.
Loosen the mounting clips and bolts, remove the rear seat folding lever (A).
